The Closet Holds Annual Spring Re-Grand Opening

The Closet held its annual spring re-grand opening on Saturday morning.

The local thrift store, which benefits area nonprofits and helps those in need, closes for a week each spring and fall to restock new merchandise for the upcoming season. The store is now full of spring and summer clothing and new items. Within a few minutes of opening the store was full of customers ready to search for bargains.

Manager Aaron Sawyer said it's a large group of people that helps make the store work, including the volunteers and employees that help make the store run smoothly, the customers and those they help. He said during the week the store closed they had to tear down the entire store and clear all the shelves before filling them back up again.
