Patch reader Dana Harold sent in photographs and a video link of the 9/11 Riders as they traveled the Dulles Toll Road on Friday. The photos were taken from the Wiehle Avenue overpass in Reston, where nearby fist responders gathered to watch.
The ride was part of the America's 9/11 Foundation 2011 tribute. More than 1,800 motorcyclists are riding from Somerset, PA to the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. before continuing onto the World Trade Center site in New York City.
