The annual Herndon Holiday Model Train Show filled the lobby of the Herndon Municipal Center with miniature landscapes circled by model trains on Saturday and Sunday.

Children and children-at-heart enjoyed the display during the weekend, and were able to watch the trains, ask questions of their builders and learn about trains. The exhibit featured HO and N gauge model trains.
