HHS 'Bye Bye Birdie' Joins In With the Band at Friday Night Live

Were you dancing in the streets on Friday night? The cast of 'Bye Bye Birdie' was.

As usual, Friday night was a-buzz with energy at downtown Herndon's Friday Night Live, just as Sunday afternoon was rockin' at the Town Green for Rock the Block.

Local bands like "Jumbo Shrimp," "The Franklin Project," and "Simone and the Spectrum" had guests dancing in the green Sunday, and there were special appearances by the Herndon High School cast of Bye Bye Birdie, as well as Al Robertson and Kenny Reym.
In fact, the Bye Bye Birdie cast was busy this past weekend, as they also performed at Friday Night Live. At one point Friday, as the Right On! band performed, the cast got up and danced along, interacting with the band, to the delight of the audience.
