Why Go: Side by Side Ministries will be this week’s guests as they stand in and bartend to raise money for the homeless in Fairfax County.
Pricing: Benefit, Raffles and Prizes for a good cause.

2. FARMER’S MARKET
Where/When: 777 Lynn St., Herndon, VA 20170; Thursday, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Why Go: Support local growers and producers by buying your fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, and cheese from these vendors.  Honey, plants, fresh cut flowers, and baked goods may also be available for purchase.

3. SUMMERTIME MOVIES
Where/When: 13025 Worldgate Dr., Herndon, VA 20170, Tuesday, 10 a.m.
Why Go: A free way to keep the kids cool and entertained.  Each week a different G and PG rated movie will be shown.  Doors open at 9 a.m. and kiddies meals are available.

4. FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION
Where/When: Herndon Community Center, 814 Ferndale Ave., Herndon, VA 20170; Monday, 5:00 p.m.
Why Go: This family fun event will have rides, games, arts and crafts, food, and more.  Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.
Pricing: Free, Open to All, some portions do have an associated cost

5. FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE
Where/When: 777 Lynn St., Herndon, VA 20170; Friday 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: A popular outdoor concert series held in downtown Herndon, this week featuring HyJinx, a 6 member rock-n-roll group.
