It's Thursday—are you looking for something to do this weekend?

1. DELAPLANE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL
Where/When: 11012 Edmonds Lane Delaplane, VA; Saturday and Sunday, 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 
Why Go:  Live entertainment, children's games, pony rides and hayrides, a petting zoo, a 5K fun run, a raptor exhibit, antique cars and lots of food and crafts. Fresh restaurant-grade flats and pints of strawberries are for sale to enjoy on-site or take home.
Pricing: $15 per Car in advance, $20 per Car at the gate

2. BLOOD DRIVE
Where/When: YMCA Reston, 12196 Sunset Hills, Reston, VA 20190; Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Why Go: Help save a life by donating blood to the American Red Cross.
Pricing: Free, Volunteer

3. FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE
Where/When: 777 Lynn Street., Herndon, VA 20170; Friday, 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy a live outdoors concert series right in downtown Herndon.
Pricing: Free, no pets or alcoholic beverages

4. BLUEGRASS CONCERT SERIES
Where/When: 1090 Sterling Rd., Herndon, VA 20170; Sunday, 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
Why Go: See two of the finest acoustic musicians and singers in concert together.
Pricing: $15, Children under 12 Free

5. MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE
Where/When: 831 Dranesville Rd., Herndon, VA 20170; Monday, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Why Go: Honor local area veterans; a guest speaker Herndon High Junior ROTC and Colorguard will be on hand.
Pricing: Free
