1. ZUMBATHON TO BENEFT CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION
Where/When: 8304 Old Keene Mill Rd., Springfield, VA; Saturday, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Why Go: Get your groove on with one of the hottest dance fitness crazes in NOVA! You'll be dancing your heart out while raising money for a great cause.
Pricing: $14 in Advance, $20 at the Door

2. LIVE MUSIC HAPPY HOUR AT PARADISE SPRING WINERY
Where/When: 13219 Yates Ford Road, Clifton, VA; Friday 5 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Why Go: The winery will have various live music acts ranging from jazz piano to country banjo on the lawn or the new back patio. Bring a picnic and some friends, as the show goes on rain or shine.

3. THE 27TH MISSISSIPPI REGIMENT IN ALDIE
Where/When: 39401 John Mosby Highway, Aldie, VA; Saturday & Sunday, 12 p.m.- 5 p.m.
Why Go:  Living history presentation of Confederate troops demonstrating military drilling and camp life. Sponsored by the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority.

4. GREENBERG TRAIN AND TOY SHOW
Where/When: , 4368 Chantilly Shopping Center Dr, Chantilly, VA 20151; Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Why Go: This show features operating model railroads, dealers selling trains and collectable toys, hands-on exhibits and demonstrations.
Pricing: $7 Ages 12 and Up; Free Ages 11 and Under

5. FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE: GONZO'S NOSE
Where/When: 777 Lynn St., Herndon, VA 20170; Friday 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Why Go: This week, Gonzo's Nose takes the stage for the last time this season at Friday Night Live. Come celebrate the end of the summer on the town green.
Pricing: Free, Open to All

6. CANINE POOL PARTY
Where/When: Herndon Community Center and Bready Park, 814 Ferndale Ave, Herndon, VA 20170; Saturday, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Why Go: Well behaved social dogs of all shapes, sizes, breeds, colors and personalities are invited for a few hours of frolicking fun. Portion of the proceeds will be given to the department's scholarship fund and the Fairfax Humane Society.
Pricing: $5/dog

7. 2ND ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL WINE AND CHEESE FESTIVAL
Where/When: 6641 Old Dominion Drive McLean, Virginia 22101; Saturday 3 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Why Go: Meet the importers and distributors of over 70 specially selected wines. Taste dozens of wines & cheeses from around the world
