1. This is the fifth Tuesday in January, so the Herndon Town Council does not have a meeting this week. The next meeting, a work session, will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7 in the Mary Ingram Council Chambers. The next public hearing will be at the same time, in the same location on Feb. 14.

3. Celebrate Fairfax has a , available to Fairfax County high school seniors. One student will be chosen from each of the county’s supervisory districts, as well as an at-large scholarship.
