Five Things to Know in Herndon This Week

The film premiere of a local historian, graduation and important meetings are happening this week

 It's a new week and a lot is happening in Herndon. Here are a few highlights happening.

1. The Town of Herndon Planning Commission is holding a meeting tonight to talk about the financial aspects and feasibility of redevelopment around the future Herndon Metro site. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in the Mary Ingram Council Chambers, 765 Lynn St.

2. The will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the Herndon Senior Center, 873 Grace St. Each meeting starts with a public comment period where area residents can talk about their concerns with county staff.

3. It’s graduation week at Herndon High School. Herndon’s seniors will walk across the stage for their diplomas at George Mason University’s Patriot Center on Friday afternoon. Let everyone know about your student’s accomplishments by posting a graduation announcement!
