Fairfax County 4-H Fair Kicks Off in Herndon Thursday

Fairfax County 4-H Fair visitors can experience carnival rides, 4-H exhibitions, live music, food and drinks, and more.

Animal lovers will not want to miss the Fairfax County 4-H Fair, which kicks off Thursday at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon. 

The 65th annual summer event kicks off with a carnival and free evening concert by the Annandale Brass Thursday. On Friday, the carnival continues with a big truck show.

The 4-H Fair and Farm Show will take place Saturday and Sunday, where visitors can see 4-H projects, animal shows, and more. Visitors can see the 4-H exhibitors get their farm animals ready for the show, visit exhibit booths, try farm chores, see dog and horse shows and more, according to the 4-H Fair website.  

The Fairfax County 4-H Fair runs 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Carnival rides will be open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be a $7 parking fee per car.
