Bark'N Bubbles, Wag'n Enterprises Raise Money to Save the Lives of Pets
Wag'n Enterprises and Bark'N Bubbles teamed up on Saturday to raise money for life-saving emergency equipment for pets
Over the weekend local pet safety expert Ines de Pablo’s Wag’n Enterprises teamed up with Herndon’s Bark’N Bubbles to hold a fundraiser for the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.
de Pablo started the O2 Fur Life Program because often life-saving equipment is not available for pets when it comes to fire department budgets. The program has helped provide more than 1,550 pet oxygen masks for fire, EMS and police departments across North America.
Proceeds from Saturday’s dog washes went to the Montgomery County Project, which helps provide pet oxygen masks for each of the 36 stations in the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service.

“We quickly found out just how great of a need this is,” de Pablo said in a press release. “Dryer fires, furnace fires, pets knocking candles over with their tails, you name it, fires are started because of it. We were shocked to find that most fire departments aren’t equipped to save your pet’s life in an emergency. These pet oxygen masks can be used on dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, hamsters, alpacas, wolves and other species.”
