Sadly, it's not unusual to see stories of suspects biting police officers during an arrest. Usually, the injury isn't this severe.
A woman in Fredericksburg is accused of biting a police officer.
"In the course of being bitten or forcibly removing his hand, the officer's hand fractured," according to a police spokesperson. "It was his left hand, and he is left-handed."
