Reston Interfaith Makes a Change, Think Twice Before Buying That Car, and More

After roughly 43 years operating as Reston Interfaith, the organization announced recently its board of directors has voted to change its name to Cornerstones. “The Board of Directors voted to change the name Reston Interfaith to Cornerstones to be more inclusive of its supporters and donors, both in Reston and throughout northwestern Fairfax County,” the organization said in a news release. The nonprofit works to help struggling individuals and families work toward self-sufficiency. “The name Cornerstones invites new partners to join the ranks of its already committed supporters, to expand the capacity to respond to the growing human need in the community,” representatives said. The organization’s new website is www.cornerstonesva.org and phone number is 571-323-9555.
