Play Bingo to Help Get the Herndon High Marching Band to Hawaii, Meet a DC United Soccer Star, and More

The day's news and events at a glance, for Herndon.

Help the Herndon High marching band get to Hawaii! Come to Ohana Bingo – or, in Hawaiian, “Family Bingo” – this Friday, Aug. 16 at the high school. A family four-pack of tickets gets you pizza, drinks, and playing cards for all 12 games, for each person in your family. Proceeds will help pay for the band’s upcoming trip to Hawaii to perform in the Pearl Harbor Parade. For more information about the bingo fundraiser, see their event listing here on Patch. To read more about the band's upcoming performance in Hawaii, read our recent article here.
