 opkins\, Professor of Biblical Theology at Wesley Theological Seminary f
 or a 3 session course entitled.&nbsp\;"On Life&rsquo\;s Road with the Ps
 alms: Naming and Claiming Our Relationship with God.&rdquo\; How can the
  Psalms help us to navigate the joys and messiness of life? They offer u
 s imaginative metaphors to help us name our diverse experiences and conn
 ect to God and one another.&nbsp\; Each Wednesday session will begin at 
 7pm and all are welcome.&nbsp\;\nNovember &nbsp\;7 -- &ldquo\;The Power 
 of Metaphor&rdquo\;.&nbsp\;We will investigate two central Psalm metapho
 rs: pathway and God as refuge. &nbsp\;Please bring one or two magazines 
 that we can rip up for a communal exercise.\nNovember 14 -- &ldquo\;Hymn
 s to God As Creator For the Good Times&rdquo\;.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;The power o
 f praise.\nNovember 28 -- &ldquo\;Laments for When Times Are Rough&rdquo
