Hail the Trail, which is part of the Dominion Trail Mix celebration, features the largest community service
project in the trail’s history, and will take place at 10 locations along the trail. You can sign up by visiting www.dominiontrailmix.com. Lots of volunteers are needed to accomplish this, so if you are interested, please sign up. Participants will get a free T-shirt.

More About Herndon Depot Museum
The Herndon Depot Museum is a historic site in Herndon where trains once came through on the W&OD Trail. It was the train stop that sprouted the town of Herndon and was its first economic engine. Though the train no longer runs, the Depot still exists and is a place where residents and visitors of Herndon can learn about the town and its history. Herndon Historical Society holds its meetings at the Herndon Depot Museum. Members of the Herndon Historical Society write the Remembering Herndon's History column for Herndon Patch.
