FRIDAY
• Kids Night Out at JW Tumbles - a night out for kids and a night off for parents at JW Tumbles
• Float Night at the Herndon Community Center - it's time to bring out your pool float and splash in the pool
• Zumba at the Herndon Community Center - those who love Zumba can head to the Zumba Party benefitting Park View High School
• Ron Culberson book signing at Reston B&N - local author Ron Culberson will be signing his new book at Barnes & Noble
• Friday Night Live on the Herndon Town Green - this week's Friday Night Live will feature Love Seed Mama Jump, a local favorite from Dewey Beach, Delaware
• Voce Chambers Singers Concert at St. Timothy's - the Voce Chamber Singers will bring its concert, Hard Times Come Again No More, to Herndon 

SATURDAY
• Footprints for Hope 5K Run and Walk - the Footprints for Hope 5K and 3-Mile/1-Mile Walk will benefit Connections for Hope
• SPIRIT Day at Frying Pan Farm Park - the volunteers from the SPIRIT Open Equestrian program invite local residents to learn about the organization
• Senior Spell Off at Herndon Senior Center - the Herndon Senior Center is holding a senior spelling bee that's open to the public 
• FISH Fling Gala and Fundraiser - the annual FISH Fling Gala and Fundraiser will help raise money for Herndon-Reston FISH 
• Weekend Bluegrass Concert Series at Holy Cross - Holy Cross Lutheran Church will host Jimmy Gaudreau and Moondi Klein at this week's Weekend Bluegrass Concert

SUNDAY
• Senior Senior Prom at St. Joseph's - the 10th annual Senior Senior Prom will bring area seniors together for a prom of their own 

ALL WEEKEND/MULTIPLE DAYS
• Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival in Reston - the Northern Virginia Fine Arts Festival will take over Reston Town Center with art and beauty throughout the weekend
• Herndon Middle School's The Wizard of Oz - Herndon Middle School brings three productions of The Wizard of Oz to the stage
• ArtSpace's Fine Art Photography Exhibit -  the 2012 Fine Art Photography Exhibit will be on display at ArtSpace through May 30
