Jimmy's is holdings its annual Christmas Party for Kids from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The day will include souvenir photos, coloring and crafts, a holiday dance party, Christmas carol sing-a-longs, a choice of kids' meal and beverages and a visit from Santa. Reservations are encouraged and all children must bring a grown up.

Elden Street Players' Theatre for Young Audiences continues its run of "Little Women" tonight and Saturday night. The play is about four teenage sisters who look for joy in their daily lives during the Civil War.

ArtSpace's current exhibit, International Pen and Brush continues through Jan. 23, 2011. The exhibit includes poetry inspired by paintings and paintings inspired by poetry by artists and writers from the United States and the United Kingdom.

The Holiday Youth Music Café will be taking place at ArtSpace on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. The event will bring holiday spirit to Herndon with live music from youth choirs from local churches. The public is invited to the free event and light refreshments will be served.

O'Sullivan's will have live music this weekend, including Tommy Rothman from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Friday and Brian Franke from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Just next door, Icehouse Café will have jazz and blues singers entertaining on Friday and Saturday night.

Ned Devine's will also have live music this weekend, starting with Steamroller Picnic. This group is a premier cover band in the Mid-Atlantic area and has performed more than 2000 times in the last 15 years. Saturday night at Ned's will bring The VIP's, a cover band that plays music from the 70s through current music.

A number of movie choices are opening this weekend, including Tron: Legacy, How Do You Know, Yogi Bear and coming to wide release is Black Swan.

Movies showing at Herndon's Phoenix Worldgate 9 include Tron: Legacy, Yogi Bear, Nagavalli, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Fighter, The Tourist, Tangled, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Megamind.
