LINK Looking for a Christmas Miracle

LINK Against Hunger needs more than 15,000 cans of food for its holiday basket program, to take place this weekend.

LINK needs immediate help to make sure many local families have a happy holiday.

According to LINK volunteers there is a significant shortage on food and toys right now. They need more than 15,000 cans of food and more than 4,000 toys to meet their needs for this year's holiday baskets.

The baskets are scheduled to be distributed this weekend and there is an extreme shortage of cereal, canned fruit, canned tuna and chicken, condiments such as ketchup, mustard and mayonaise, boxed meals, jelly, pasta sauce, canned pasta products and baking products.

LINK is also trying to collect enough toys to provide two for the 2,300 children signed up to receive them through the organization and needs many more. New toys between $10-$20 are requested.
