Herndon Police Report - Jan. 30 to Feb. 5

A person reported their push cart was stolen from a parking garage.

 


The Herndon Police Department reported the following incidents from Jan. 30 to Feb. 5, 2012:

BRUIN DISTRICT
• The victim reported their push cart was stolen from a parking garage between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Jan. 30 in the 1200 block of Alton Square.
• Ictaly Ramos Molina, 46, of no fixed address, was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public at 8:28 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the 400 block of Arkansas Avenue.
• A noise complaint was reported at 10:23 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the 800 block of Sycamore Court.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance at 8:25 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue.
• Ronald Conner, 27, of Annandale, was arrested for allegedly violating a protective order at 9:31 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the 500 block of Florida Avenue. 

GOLF COURSE DISTRICT
• A vehicle was found with damage to the window and door handle at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 30 in the 1100 block of Shannon Place.
• The victim reported an unknown subject using their social security number for tax purposes at 11:41 a.m. on Feb. 2 in the 1100 block of Dublin Place.
• A noise complaint was reported at 8:12 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the 1100 block of Shannon Place. 

HALEY SMITH DISTRICT
• The victim reported being assaulted by a subject that was attempting to shoplift items from a business at 7:05 p.m. on Feb. 5 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Virgilio Vasquez, 18, of Herndon, was issued a summons for alleged shoplifting at 2:34 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported their headphones had been stolen from the lobby of a hotel at 4:39 a.m. on Feb. 4 in the 400 block of Elden Street.
• Joshua Montgomery, 21, of Leesburg, was arrested for allegedly being drink in public and purchasing alcohol for a minor at 11:57 p.m. on Feb. 4 in the 100 block of Spring Street.
• The victim reported receiving harassing phone calls from an acquaintance at 11:20 a.m. on Jan. 30 in the 100 block of Elden Street.
• The victim reported receiving a bad check from a subject at 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 30 in the 200 block of Sunset Park Drive.
• A noise complaint was reported at 8:54 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the 600 block of Grant Street.
• A noise complaint was reported at 4:31 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the 300 block of Reneau Way. 

RUNNYMEDE DISTRICT
• Curtis Hillard, 49, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged burglary, tampering/accessing a vending machine and larceny at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 1 in the 800 block of Ferndale Avenue.
• The victim reported hearing a noise and while investigating its source, discovered an unknown subject inside their residence at 6:22 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the 200 block of Herndon Station Square.
• A vehicle was entered between 12:30 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. and an undisclosed amount of money was reported stolen on Feb. 2 in the 1300 block of Dominion Ridge Lane.
• A vehicle was entered between 4 p.m. on Feb. 1 and 2 p.m. on Feb. 2 and an iPod was reported stolen in the 1300 block of Monroe Street.
• A package was delivered that was stolen from the doorstep of a residence at 8:45 a.m. on Feb. 3 in the 800 block of Grace Street.
• Miguel Solis Amaya, 76, of no fixed address, was arrested for allegedly being drunk in public at 2:36 a.m. on Feb. 5 in the 800 block of Elden Street.
• A trespassing was reported at 9:05 p.m. on Feb. 2 in the 700 block of Center Street. 

CENTER DISTRICT
• A vehicle was entered between 4:36 p.m. and 7:48 p.m. on Feb. 3 and a GPS unit was reported stolen in the 600 block of Dulles Park Court.
• A noise complaint was reported at 7:51 p.m. on Jan. 31 in the 1200 block of Elden Street.
• Norma Ramos, 18, and Greysi Corrales Aguilera, 20, both of Herndon, were issued summonses for alleged underage possession of alcohol at 2:28 a.m. on Feb. 4 in the 1100 block of Elden Street. 

OTHER INCIDENTS
• Edward Saylor Helmlinger, 29, of Ashburn, was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated at 9:36 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the 100 block of Herndon Parkway.
• Todd Brown, 32, of Herndon, was arrested for alleged assault and drunk in public in a case out of Loudoun County at 10:41 p.m. on Feb. 1 in the 1400 block of Sterling Road.
• Herndon Police reported the following traffic incidents from Jan. 30 through Feb. 5: one incident of driving under the influence, 33 incidents of speeding, four incidents of no operators license, five incidents of driving while on a suspended or revoked license, and 13 incidents of expired or no Town of Herndon sticker.

Someone needs to read up on castle doctrine defined in this state...essh!
