Herndon Middle School will dismiss students early on Tuesday, at 12:15 p.m.
The early dismissal is so teachers can participate in focused professional development with outside consultants and other Fairfax County Public Schools faculty.
On Tuesday students will follow a Day 3 schedule with no PowerTime.
