Holiday Civil War Book Sale and Signing
December 13, 2011 from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern at 697 Spring Street in Herndon
Three local award winning authors will be signing and
selling their latest books and movies on Civil War history December 13, 6:00 – 9:00 pm, at Jimmy’s Old Town Tavern on the corner of Elden and Spring Streets in Herndon.
This includes the recently released Documentary “Mosby’s
Combat Operations in Fairfax County, Virginia,” that has already won two major
awards.
Chuck Mauro will be signing his books “The Civil War in Fairfax County: Civilians and Soldiers”, “A Southern Spy in Northern Virginia: The Civil War Album of Laura Ratcliffe”,
“Herndon: A Town and Its History”, “Herndon: A History in Images”, and the movie “The Battle of Chantilly (Ox Hill)," the largest Civil War battle fought in Fairfax County.
Don Hakenson will be signing his books, “Reminiscences of Frank H. Rahm & An Analysis of Ranger John H. Lunceford”, “This Forgotten Land, A Tour of Civil War Sites and Other Historical Landmarks South of Alexandria
Virginia,” “This Forgotten Land,” Volume II, “Biographical Sketches of Confederate Veterans Buried in Alexandria Virginia,” and “Mosby Vignettes Volumes I - VII.”
Eric Buckland will be signing his books “Mosby's Keydet Rangers”, “Mosby Men” and “Mosby Men II”.
