Chesterbrook Academy Preschoolers Donate to Care Connection for Children
On Wednesday, Dec. 12, students from Chesterbrook Academy in Herndon wrapped and donated presents collected throughout December for a family in need adopted through Care Connection for Children, an organization that coordinates community and education resources with medical expertise to help children with disabilities. A representative from the organization visited the school to thank students for their charitable efforts this holiday. The pre-K students helped load the festively-wrapped donations for delivery.
Chesterbrook Academy adopted more than 60 children in need this season through two Virginia-based charity organizations, Care Connection for Children (CCC) and Our Neighbor’s Child. Chesterbrook Academy families participated by purchasing gifts for the adopted children through a Giving Tree set up in the school lobby full of gift tags marked with the adopted children’s holiday wishes.
